Difference between Finding and Making Time

How are your new year’s resolutions going? Do you have trouble finding time?


Number one complaint that I hear from my patients is they don’t have time when it comes to maintaining health. We all have a lot to take care of: work, home, kids, parents, friends, pets and so on. Yet, we have only 24 hours to somehow finish everything while working on our health. No wonder we are overwhelmed.


If you have trouble finding time, here’s a little secret. You NEED TO MAKE time.


Have you ever had a project that looked impossible to complete, but somehow you finished before its deadline? You did it because you changed your priority and MADE time.


So how can you make time? There are many ways, but I find media fasting works best for me. We unconsciously waste incredible amount of time everyday with TV, smartphones, computers, internet, Facebook, Youtube, and well you get the idea. 2 minutes here, 3 minutes there, and by the end of the day, they all add up. When I got rid of my TV, I was surprised that I finally had time to read.


If you want to work on your health, take a close look at where you are wasting your time. You’ll be pleasantly surprised to squeeze in activities you previously didn’t have time for.
